Truth & Reconciliation Committee
The School’s Truth and Reconciliation Committee (TRC) is a branch of the school’s democratic government that ensures all agreements of the School are reinforced. The TRC is modeled after indigenous practices of restorative justice and the Truth and Reconciliation Committee of South Africa. Staff and students are equal members of the TRC, and hold one vote in all areas related to the school. Reflecting due process and equality, the TRC maintains and reinforces the laws of the school. This ensures the safety, trust, freedom, and support for all members of the community.
